Hello Classmates!!

Where did 50 yrs go? It seems really weird to me that I'm even writing that question.

I've done a lot of things during my life since high school and I'm sure the rest of you have as well. The best thing that's ever happened in my life are my 2 children who are now adults....Adam and Suzannah.

The best job I ever had was working at an animal hospital. Every day was different and a learning experience. I love animals so much, and currently have cats and a dog. But during my Vet. Tech. days we had 33 pets at home including birds, reptiles, rabbits, ferrets, cats, dogs and a rat. Most were either strays that ended up at the house or abandoned pets that clients would bring to my work and leave, never to return.

My hobbies are many. I love doing genealogy work and have been involved in that for about 30 yrs. As an adoptee I searched and found my birth family when I was 22 yrs old - before computers, the internet and DNA. I am still finding cousins to this day. I enjoy helping others searching for their own families.

The other things that occupy my time are doing art projects of various types. Working with stained glass is one medium that is special to me; but I also love drawing & painting. Doing nature photography is another thing - along with flower gardening (I raise daylilies) and reading & writing too. Still like listening to all the bands we had in our generation. I'm having hearing issues now. My ear doc said it was from listening to Led Zeplin too loud. Uh...okay. Maybe. Could've been Pink Floyd too.

Do you guys remember at our football games they'd start singing 'Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye' by Steam? I think it was our theme song kind of.

In High School I was quiet and shy. I wasn't very outgoing and didn't have a lot of friends. I'm pretty much still the same way. Not much has changed there.

Some of those same friends are no longer with us in this world. I miss them a lot. God speed to them in their next adventures.
